PBSA BASEBALL
PBSA provides baseball opportunities for players on the Peninsula from ages 3 through adult in both Spring and Fall seasons.
Our programs emphasize FUN, FRIENDSHIP, SKILL DEVELOPMENT, and FITNESS, and welcome players of all experience and ability levels.

PBSA is a proud member of the Greater Victoria Baseball Association (GVBA) and plays under the rules of the GVBA Universal House League, the Official Rules of Baseball (Canadian Edition), and the BC Baseball Association (BCBA).

Winter skill clinics for spring players run January to March

Team selection for 9U–18U occurs early spring following assessment clinics to ensure balanced teams
All programs are led by volunteer parent coaches and managed by our VP of Junior Baseball and VP of Senior Baseball.
Note: Baseball age is based on birth year (age as of December 31 of the year prior to the playing season).

5U Little Sluggers (ages 3–4): Spring
7U Rally Cap (ages 5–6): Spring
9U Tadpole (ages 7–8): Spring & Fall
11U Mosquito (ages 9–10): Spring & Fall
13U Pee Wee (ages 11–12): Spring & Fall
15U Bantam (ages 13–14): Spring & Fall
18U Midget (ages 15–18): Spring
19+ Adult Challenger: Spring
Registration is first-come, first-served. Waitlists will be created if needed.
Coaching Expectations
Each team will ideally include:

Parent Expectations
Parents are required to support the program through volunteer duties such as:

Scorekeeping

Field setup and takedown

Dugout clean-up

PBSA Refund Policy
Up to January 31:

Full refund minus $15 administration fee (written request required)
February 1 – April 1:
-
Full refund minus $25 administration fee (written request required)
April 2 – First Game:

50% refund
After April 21:
-
Refunds only issued for medical reasons with a doctor’s note

Other exceptional circumstances may be reviewed by the Division VP or PBSA Board
For medical refunds:

Refund amount is prorated based on the portion of the season played

Player must return club-owned jerseys or equipment
After May 10:
-
No refunds for any reason, unless the season is cancelled due to circumstances beyond PBSA’s control.

In that case, PBSA will provide refund options to all players.
